The company’s origins date back to 1988. Originally trading as SSE Contracting, it became Enerveo’s National Compliance and Testing division following a sale in 2021. After being acquired in 2026 by Amcomri Group plc, it made a seamless transition to the GridCore trading name.
The acquisition by Amcomri, a specialist engineering services group, enables GridCore to further develop its well-established testing and compliance operations while expanding its activities in the ‘private network’ electrical infrastructure market.
Led by an experienced management team, GridCore’s focus is on delivering efficient, compliant services that adapt to changing regulations and emerging technologies, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism, ethical conduct, and environmental responsibility.
